When we got our independence, the expectation of every Kenyan was to go to heaven. Unfortunately, we lost our way and ended up in the desert of poverty where we have been going round in circles for fifty years, unable to find our way to the Promised Land of milk and honey – necessities of decent life. With our old constitution or compass to the Promised Land mutilated by our leaders and used to keep us in the desert rather than navigate us to Canaan, in 2010, we made ourselves another constitution or compass to take us to the Promised Land...
