Congolese in fraud case

A Congolese man married to former TV anchor Ann Ngugi was yesterday charged with fraud. Hypolite Nyogbia, 42, was accused of conspiring with others, including Ngugi, to defraud a Nigerian businessman Fabian Chibiebule Ohare of Sh6.3 million. He is also charged with pretending to supply him with 50kg of gold. Nyogbia allegedly committed the offence between September 20 and October 24 last year in Nairobi.
