Transport in Mwingi town was yesterday affected when thousands of residents accompanied an aspirant to the IEBC offices to present his papers. Joe Mutambu, a Mwingi Central parliamentary aspirant, led a two kilometre procession of his supporters to the IEBC offices. “I thank all my supporters for nominating me for the seat and for accompanying me to collect my certificate," Mutambi said after receiving his clearance. Mutambu garnered 13,793 votes in last month's Wiper party nominations.
