Police in Nakuru have been summoned to court to explain why they charged a man who rescued a 17-year-old girl with defilement. This comes after the girl testified that there is a plot by the police and her attacker's wife to falsely accuse Francis Anyula. The teenager testified in court that her attacker, who was her employer, had detained and defiled her in his church at Kaptembwo in Nakuru on July 14 and 15 last year. “He sent me to sweep the church but followed me, brandished a knife then defiled,” she told the court.
