Sirma and Jepchirchir emerge best at Wareng race

Nelphat Sirma and Sophy Jepchirchir won 12km senior men and 8km senior women races respectively during the Wareng district cross country meeting at Eldoret Polytechnic over the weekend. Sirma won 12km race in 36.02.95 while Simon Kiplagat (37:01.70) and John Koech (37:26.04) followed in the second and third positions respectively. In an interview Sirma said he is focused to make the cut in the Kenya team to the World Cross Country Championships next month in Poland.
