A former Kenya Defense Force officer, facing murder charges has said he suffers from epilepsy. Francis Chela, 45, faces charges of attempting to kill son, Peter Francis, 12 and killing his wife Lillian Tatu. He allegedly committed the offence on October 20, 2012 in Kijiwetanga area within Malindi subcounty. Chela has denied the offences.
