Seven MPs get stuck in KPA lift

KENYA Ports Authority management yesterday got flak after one of the lifts at their headquarters jammed, with seven MPs inside. The Labour committee members, including chairman David Were, got stuck in the lift for 15 minutes until the fire brigade saved them. The committee had visited the port to discuss labour issues involving the workers. “We are still recovering from the shock,” Were said, before he chaired a meeting attended by KPA boss Gichiri Ndua.
