Sri Lankan man fined

A Sri Lankan man was yesterday fined Sh70,000 for engaging in employment without a permit. Ramanan Mugureshu accepted that on September 30 at Mercy International limited in Mombasa, he worked as a car salesman without a permit. He said he was getting his company a permit and would facilitate that once he is out of court. The magistrate said he has 14 days to appeal.
