Legislator lobbies for men’s kitty

AN MP has moved a motion to compel the government to put in place a fund to empower men over the age of 53 years. Gatanga MP Humphrey Njuguna said there are various funds to assist women and youth, but men have been left out. He said the Kazi Kwa Vijana programme, Youth Enterprise Fund, Women Enterprise Fund and Uwezo Fund are discriminative against men. Debate on the motion was adjourned due to lack of quorum.
