A Sunday service at the African Independent Pentecostal Church in Kimende ended in disarray when the faithful disagreed on the mode of voting their new officials. The disagreement occurred when some faithful were denied entry into the church on claims that they belong to the Eastern Diocese headed by Samson Muthuri. The group supported Archbishop Evanson Ndungu Kibe, the head of the AIPCA in Kenya. Some of the faithful entered the church compound by jumping over the fence, bringing the service to an abrupt end.
