President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday made a couple of populist declarations concerning the public transport sector. (See page 3) Among other things, he lifted the ban on matatus and other PSVs from being decorated in the most vibrant and eye-catching colours and graphics. There is nothing wrong with graphic decorations emblazoned on means of public transport that young people (the majority of Kenya’s population) appreciate.
