Two men who allegedly conned Cotu boss Francis Atwoli yesterday were charged with obtaining money by false pretenses. David Langat and Richard Cheruyoit appeared before Kibera senior resident magistrate Brian Khaemba. They did not take the plea as they said they could not understand English or Kiswahili. The two are accused of obtaining Sh100,000 by pretending they had been sent by Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto to raise funds for the hospital bill and burial arrangements of his daughter Emmy.
