The Council of Governors has appealed to the state to include counties in security matters to restore peace in troubled areas. The council expressed concern about attacks and called on the government to restore order. “The situation appears to be getting out of hand. There is urgent need for collaborative restoration of order,” says a statement signed by council spokesman Barrack Muluka. It says it is possible to collaborate on security without distorting the command structures.
