THE Ministry of Education has rejected a radical proposal to have First Term learning in schools begin in September as they released new term dates for schools and colleges for 2015. According to the new calendar, primary and secondary schools will open on January 5 for First Term and close on April 10 for the April holidays. They will then re-open for Second Term on May 4 and close on August 7.
