Doctors, nurses spurn jobs over insecurity

Lamu hospitals are faced with an acute shortage of doctors and nurses. Health services director David Mulewa said the quality of services has been affected. More than 72 nurses are needed, he said. Many doctors and nurses are unwilling to work in Lamu due to insecurity, Mulewa said. He addressed journalists in Lamu town on Tuesday.
