Meru county probation officer Patrick Kobia has called for collective participation in reintegration of offenders into the society. Kobia yesterday said probation officers need community cooperation and participation to deliver on the department’s mandate. The officers supervise and rehabilitate offenders in public institutions. Kobia said the community has a crucial role to play in promoting and enhancing administration of justice. He asked the community and government officials to assist in social crime prevention.
