KITUTU Masaba MP Timothy Bosire yesterday asked the government to maintain the traditional tea markets. This will enable farmers to sell the produce at better prices, he said. Bosire said the country lost potential tea buyers due to politics during the 2013 general election. Speaking to the Star on the phone yesterday, he said the government should find new tea markets to boost farmers’ earning. Bosire said current prices have demoralised farmers.
