THE Bungoma county assembly will work with the Kenya Law Reforms Commission to speed up the drafting of bills and their enactment. Speaker John Makali said the partnership will simplify the process and more laws will be created and passed by MCAs. He said the KLRC has 51 model bills for various devolved sectors. “We want Members to look at the model bills and sponsor those they feel they have an interest in. We still want to pass at least 15 before we break for the December recess,” Makali said.
