THE bodies of two Maasai Mara University students who drowned in the Narok River on Sunday have been retrieved. They were among students on a picnic taking pictures near the river when the accident occurred. The bodies were retrieved on Tuesday by divers from the university and the Kenya Red Cross. Diver Christopher Kemboi, a university employee, retrieved the bodies in four minutes after a 36-hour search. “I was trained by the Kenya Navy personnel in Nandi county where drowning was common," he said.
