FOUR people died after allegedly drinking poisonous alcohol in Katipanga village, Murang’a South subcounty. They are said to have drunk Jebel Vodka, a Kenya Breweries Limited product, at a bar in the shopping centre on Sunday . Peter Ng’ang’a, the owner of Kwang’ang’a bar where they died, was one of the victims. Murang’a county commissioner Kula Hache however said she did not find Jebel in any of the three bars in the shopping centre. She said the alcohol was mysteriously taken off the shelves.
