KIAMBU has registered a record enrollment in early childhood education centres for January classes following the introduction of school-feeding programmes. Speaking yesterday in Thika, Education executive Esther Ndirangu said some schools have seen a surge in vacancy requests by area residents looking to enrol their children. “Some schools could only get about 10 kids, but now they record between 30 and 40 pupils,” she said.
