The High Court has ordered the Kenya Pipeline Corporation to pay a British Oil firm Sh3.2 billion for releasing its gas to Triton Oil Company without authority. Justice Eric Ogola of the Commercial Division yesterday passed the judgment in favour of Glencore Energy Oil, whose 31,752.39 gas oil was released to Triton. Ogola directed KPC to pay Glencore the money as compensation. He ordered KPC to pay a 3 per cent interest per year from the date the case was filed in court until payment is fully made...
