Land selling by Coast residents has become rampant scaling up the high rate of landlessness in the region. Designated National Land Commission chairman Mohamed Swazuri said the rate of selling land at the Coast is alarming. Swazuri warned communities living at the Coast to stop “careless selling of ancestral land”.
