DPP orders probe on Serut threat to student who questioned bursary allocations

Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko has ordered the CID to investigate death threats allegedly made by Mt Elgon MP John Serut. The MP is said to have threatened to kill 23-year-old university student Martin Ndiwa. Ndiwa questioned the way bursaries are allocated to undergraduates in the constituency. However, Serut allegedly warned him, “I will come for your head” should he continue questioning him on social media.
