Garissa parents warned against early marriages, lack of education

Parents have been asked to take their daughters to school and stop early marriages or action will be taken against them. Speaking yesterday in Garissa town during a public baraza, county commissioner Rashid Khator said stern action will be taken against parents keeping their daughters at home. “We want to sound a warning to parents still keeping their young girls at home and denying them their right to education.
