You’re a fool and a fake, Bishop Wanjiru tells rep on WhatsApp

All is not well among Jubilee leaders, if an exchange in a WhatsApp group is anything to go by. The Star is privy to the exchange, which turned abusive when Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of Jesus is Alive Ministries threatened to slap Waithaka MCA Peter Kiragu and called him “a fool and a fake leader”.

She posted on the Nairobi Forward group page on Saturday: “Whoever you call yourself, only fools like you who never went to school don’t know what is to be defeated hands down.”

Wanjiru threatened to block anyone against her re-election and described how she dealt with Starehe MP Maina Kamanda. Kamanda left the group on Sunday, after weekend-long attacks from Wanjiru. Some members said she appeared to be losing control.

No apologies

Kamanda did not respond to Wanjiru before leaving the group and he has not been welcomed back. “I have made sure he (Kiragu) does not come back as an MCA....bring it Mr, I will teach you a lesson or two like your Starehe friend,” Wanjiru posted.

A group member, however, hit back at Wanjiru: “The comments by Wanjiru are unfortunate. I do not expect a gubernatorial candidate who claims to be closer to God to emanate vilified vitriol and poison.” To which Wanjiru immediately responded: “I am not apologizing to anybody.”

Dandora 3 MCA Charles Thuo, alias Gathundo, called Wanjiru “useless” when the bishop said she would physically fight them if it were not unspiritual. Members of the group include Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru, nominated MP Johnston Sakaja, all Jubilee Nairobi MCAs, Cord and TNA MPs in Nairobi and Nairobi Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke.
