A famous bull elephant in the Maasai Mara ecosystem was killed at the weekend. Tenebo, estimated at 48 years was found dead on Saturday morning. He was spotted by Elephant Aware Community scouts on patrol in the central area of the Siana Mara Conservancy. Kenya Wildlife Service were alerted and the team followed the tracks of a motorbike suspected to have been used to transport the tusks.
