The work boycott by the Kitui County Council staff entered its fourth day yesterday as the strikers insisted they will not budge until treasurer Alfred Kitoo is removed. Led by Kenya Local Government Workers Union Kitui branch officials Joseph Mulei and Christine Kasiva, the workers started the work boycott on Monday and have been holding a sit-in at the council’s mechanical department yard.
