The High Court yesterday ordered that two students charged with murdering a fellow student be remanded until their case is heard and determined. United States International University student Duncan Kimanthi and Winnie Kariuki have denied kidnapping and killing Sarah Aruwa on June 30 and July 1 at Githunguri in Kiambu. Justice Nicholas Ombija issued the order after dismissing Kimanthi and Kariuki's application for bail. In his ruling, Ombija said incidents of kidnapping and murder have become common in Kenya.
