THE Union of Kenya Civil Servants is calling on nurses to ignore the call for a strike and report to work on Monday. Head of medical chapter Evans Nasebe appealed to nurses to report to work and offer normal services and wait for discussions to address their grievances. He said nurses risk being sacked if they go on strike, as it is illegal and could amount to absconding duties.
