THE government must continue funding and support of sustainable HIV programmes in the country to reduce HIV prevalence, Aids experts have said. National Aids Control Council chairperson Mary Getui said donor support will not achieve much if the government does not remain committed. In her speech read by Supkem chairman Abdulghafur Busaidy during the World Aids Day celebrations in Mombasa on Saturday, Getui said Kenya’s dwindling donor support accounts for 85 percent of all HIV funding.
