KCB Lions beat reigning champions Co-operative Bank of Kenya 67-59 in a top Premier League play off match at Nyayo Stadium gymnasium. Lions roared to a 31-23 lead at the break and refused to be cowed as Ancette Wafula, Tobias Onyango, Chriza Ntirara and Roy Kahure stamped their authority early to take a 1-0 lead in the best of three series. “It was important to win this game.
