NAKURU town MP Lee Kinyanjui has urged the government and private sector to invest more in buying cancer equipment and training of oncologists. Speaking during the launch of the Nakuru Hospice in Nakuru town, the MP said the country suffers a shortage of cancer specialists. “The number of specialists and machines needed for cancer treatment have been outstripped by the ever growing population," said Kinyanjui.
