The Bungoma police station is at risk of being closed after the Public Health ministry said it poses serious health hazards. Bungoma Municipality public health officer Ken Kundu yesterday issued a seven day notice to the station's commander asking him to build four toilets at the station. Kundu also wants the station to build 12 toilets and 12 bathrooms at its police lines.
