Migori wants new bridge as promised

MIGORI town residents and business people have called on the government to speed up the construction of a bridge over River Onyinjo. The bridge which overflows cuts off the town forcing residents to take longer routes. During the last elections the bridge was a major determinant on voting patterns as all politicians promised to build it in time. “Campaign pledges should be transformed into action as the bridge scares investors which lowers the economic strength of the town,” Valentine Ogongo, a politician in the last election said.
