Embu supermarket staff deny pinching Sh24,000 goods

Five workers at Magunandu Supermarket in Embu were yesterday charged with stealing assorted goods worth more than Sh24,000. Margaret Wanjiru, David Muriithi, Nephat Muhia, Zakary Muriithi, and Pujrity Wangui allegedly committed the theft on different dates between November 12 and 23. Wanjiru, Muriithi, and Wangui face another charge of handling the stolen goods knowing that they had been stolen.
