For the second time in a week the High Court yeterday declined to stop businesswoman Mary Wambui from vying for Othaya parliamentary seat. Justice David Majanja said he cannot grant orders for a nomination which has yet to take place. He added that if the nomination is done illegally, the court has the power to stop it. Majanja was ruling on a plea by four Othaya voters seeking to stop Wambui’s bid for the seat on grounds of "her wanting integrity".
