Jomvu residents hold demo over traffic snarl-ups, terrible road

Residents of Kwa Jomvu yesterday led a demonstration demanding the relocation of Container Freight Stations and warehouses located in their area. The angry residents took to the streets from around 4 pm, saying the CFS and warehouse causes traffic jams and the warehouses are a health hazard. “The road is so dusty that our children are constantly getting TB," said Matilda Kalume, a resident.
