Seven men accused of the murder of 12 police officers at Baragoi in Samburu have been released on a Sh2 million bond with two similar sureties each. The councillor, four chiefs, a police reservists and a wildlife conservancy worker will also be required to report to the officer-in-charge of Baragoi police station weekly. Judge Roselyne Wendoh ordered the seven not to have any contact with the witnesses lined up to testify against them, to maintain good conduct during the duration of their trial and to appear in court every month for a mention of their case...
