Deputy Police Commissioner Francis Okonya yesterday failed to produce certificates to prove he has the academic qualifications required to be appointed as the CID director. Okonya only produced a diploma certificate indicating he had passed an international relations course offered by the University of Nairobi. He said he was a Masters degree student at the University of Leeds but had yet to graduate as he had been asked to work on his thesis dissertation afresh.
