A youth council has urged politicians in Meru to stop misusing young people. The National Youth Council Meru Chapter accused some politicians of giving the youth handouts, alcohol and drugs to lure them to their political rallies. The council, which issued a press statement in Meru, said cases of ferrying youths in lorries to political rallies has been witnessed in North Imenti and Igembe South Constituencies recently and expressed fear that the cases might be increase when campaigns intensify...
