Traders in Momabasa's Kongowea market want the facility electrically fenced. In a meeting held on Tuesday afternoon at the market, the traders said the market should at least have a police booth and special ID cards introduced for traders and suppliers. The businesspeople said they are concerned about security. Four night guards were killed by thugs in the market last year. The meeting was chaired by Nyali MP Awiti Bolo.
