MAASAI Mara University has said it will help conserve the Mau Forest. The university's vice-chancellor Prof David Serem yesterday said they will conserve forests, wetlands and water catchments areas in the Mau Complex. “We need concerted efforts from all stakeholders to reverse the worrying trend that is a threat to human habitat in Narok county,” said Serem. Serem was speaking after the institution, Narok county government and Clemson University from the US signed a memorandum of understanding on research and tourism.
