Governor Alex Tolgos has assured paramedics and casuals in public health facilities in Elgeyo Marakwet county that their jobs are safe. Tolgos said rumours that his government is planning to sack some medical workers who hail from outside the county are not true. “Let me assure all the staff under the Ministry of Health and Sanitation that nobody will be relieved of his or her duty on the basis of tribe, political affiliation or religion,” he said.
