Athi River title deeds now ready

The Mavoko Municipal Council has completed the ratification on 3,500 plots in Athi River and the title deeds are expected anytime soon, Mayor Patrick Makau has said. The mayor said most plot owners had developed property on the strength of temporary occupation licenses and put up permanent buildings in contravention of the law as their land had not been ratified.
