Striking health workers have moved to court to seek orders to quash a decision barring their union from registration. In a petition filed at the Industrial court, the workers say the refusal to register the Kenya National Union of Nurses is unconstitutional and invalid. Judge Marete Njagi yesterday directed the parties to exchange court documents before today's hearing. However, the Registrar of Trade Unions sought for more time to respond to the suit.
