URP aspirants in Bomet have welcome the decision by the party to use the IEBC register in the January 4 nominations.The aspirants who had raised concern on how party recruitment was conducted said the use of IEBC's register will ensure a free and fair nomination process. "All other parties should emulate this to ensure Kenyans pick their favorite candidate," said Bernard Bett, an aspirant for the Bomet East constituency seat. Paul Bii, a parliamentary aspirant in Chepalungu, said URP membership recruitment was hijacked by unpopular and selfish individuals.
