Residents of Trans Nzoia have been advised to save and apply for loans from financial institutions. Trans Nzoia Trans Kenya Women's Sacco CEO Martha Ouma said by saving money, residents can easily start businesses through loan acquisition. She was addressing residents of Shimo La Tewa village in Kitale yesterday after the Sacco donated clothes, soap and food stuff to villagers. Ouma said her Sacco gives loans to women who form groups and saving money in the organisation. She said the organisation has grown from 2,500 members in 2011 to 3,000 due to good marketing strategy.
