Five journalists escaped death when they were attacked by armed bandits in Turkana. The Standard newspaper and KTN journalists' vehicle was attacked by two armed men at Kalimng'orok near Kainuk in Turkana South. Police boss John Bosco said they have launched investigations into the incident. He said the journalists who were on assignment in the area prone to cattle rustling were robbed of money and mobile phones. The thieves fled when a log-distance lorry arrived at the scene. Two of the journalists were slightly injured after they were hit by the bandits.
