The Isiolo county government has brought together former MPs, elders and other leaders who ruled since independence to help sole the Isiolo-Meru boundary dispute. Governor Godana Doyo led the county executives, ward representatives and other county officials in deliberating on the matter. Armed with relevant documents, the former leaders, led by former Senator Lawi M’Kibitu and MPs Adan Bonaya and Hassan Wario, gave the county government their insight of the boundaries with the neighbouring Meru county since the colonial period.
